Born in 2006, Marat Basaria has been photographing for over four years in some of the world’s most popular locations. He started with his family camera in 2020, taking photos of passing airplanes by the airport. In 2021, he saved up for his own camera and lens and subsequently took some of his best shots in natural habitats, cities, and in the aviation industry. He currently works at Airways Magazine as a photographer and journalist as he provides up-to-date aviation news and special insights on both aircraft manufacturers and airlines. A Senior Staff Writer at The Brown Daily Herald, Marat also covers day-by-day news across Brown University. Marat brings his camera everywhere he goes.
